Burnham on Sea  18 vs  Frome 10

Due to Various injuries Burnham had to field a weakened team to face Frome but those who were elevated to the first team showed determination and commitment to the cause and whilst Frome had had a rest the day before Burnham eventually came out winners.The first half was a fairly non descript affair with Burnham conceding a yellow card and a penalty to turn round 3 points down.However in the second half Frome had to face the sun and shortly after the restart they transgressed twice enabling Burnham to take the lead 6-3.Frome came straight back and poor communication at the base of the scrum allowed Frome to capitalise and cross the line.6-10.Fortunately for Burnham that was the last of their scoring efforts as Burnham’s senior players saved the day.Firstly Alan House repeating his gallop from the previous day and then Tim Piper intercepting and then racing in from 70 metres.18-10.Well done Burnham.
