Burnham put Gordano to the sword in an emphatic fashion, running in 9 tries and displaying the type of rugby that coach Richard Muskett has been working so hard in getting across to the boys in training. Brandon Pettitt marked his debut with a try and showing that he is more than capable of playing senior rugby.
Burnhams pack which was Ed Lewis, Adam Peters, Jamie Dutton, Ross Mckechan, Tom Stevens Danny Spellman Henry Bigwood and Jordyn Wikitera pulled up there socks and did the hard work which often goes unnoticed, to enable Burnham to release there backs to notch up the 9 tries. Try scorers were Beau Dickins 2,Jordan Paul 2,Brandon Pettitt,Josh Holder,Russell Pike,Richard Muskett aand Tim Piper, who also kicked 5 conversions and a penalty.
Every player including Matt Fear who came off the bench had a big influence in the game and as a team Burnham really did prove they can play the style of rugby to challenge any team.
Man of the match was a very difficult choice however it went to Henry (Voldemort) Bigwood.
Burnham travel to Wellington for their next match, coach leavingat 12 midday.
