After a tortuous  coach journey to Crediton an injury stricken Burnham on Sea side found it hard to match a very plucky home side.
Burnham struggled for possession early in the game and Crediton scored a try after 10 minutes. Burnham then got points on the board with a Tim Piper penalty. After 13 minutes Crediton scored again in the corner.

Winger Matt Love had a good fun when he cut in the middle of the park.

But Crediton continued to dominate territoriality and by half time led 22 – 3.

Burnham now playing down the slope

Began the second half with more confidence enjoying more possession than they had during the first period.
Matt Slater and front row partner Chris Warner getting more success in the scrum and also prominent in the loose play.  Despite all this it was Crediton who scored next with a converted try.

Burnham did eventually score a try with a well worked move down the right when Tim Piper and Russ Pike linked well to put Alex Watkins in for a Try. Piper converted. Crediton had the last word with a converted try in injury time.
