Burnham’s walking rugby team is aimed at past players and those who have never played before. It is touch rugby so no scrums or lineouts. A tackle is a two handed touch between waist and shoulder so no rolling around in the mud. We play every Wednesday evening at 7pm and are open to all, we currently have about ten ladies playing. The emphasis is having fun and we have a mixture of all abilities.
If you fancy having a go just turn up at 6.45 pm Wednesday evening and give it a try or come and watch first to see what we do.
If another rugby club has a team and would like to come to Burnham for a game that would be most welcome.
