Burnham came out of the blocks with the same intensity that they finished out their last game.
It was not long before Burnham were breaking tackles with some strong running by centres Harry Marks and Jack Manlow. They linked back up with No. 6 Ben Stacey  who finished out a trade mark powerful running line to go over the line. No. 10 Alex Watkins with his kicking boots on soon found his target range quickly and the added the extras. He settled into a rhythm becoming well acquainted with the kicking tee as a much superior Burnham team began a first half rout. Jack Manlow not to be out done by his team mates used his power to get himself over the whitewash.  This was followed up with well worked tries by the team with the finishers being Ben Stacey for another two, a real poacher’s try by Toby Fear and a fantastic running line by Will Astill returning from CardiffMet University.
45 points to 0 at half time.

The second half saw a very different game with Martock coming to life and playing some rugby. Coupled with some Burnham ill discipline Martock were able to capitalise and broke their duck. However man of the match Ben Stacey against the run of play rounded three players to go over for his fourth. The afternoon of play finished out with a piece of rugby magic. It took the ever youthful Andy Fear to finish out a passage of play where he linked with his two sons to trundle through two attempted tackles from the Martock 22 metre line to crash over. Game, set and match.
