A disappointing result for Burnham as it more or less from confirms Burnham’s relegation
From Western Counties.Paignton took an early lead to 5 nil up but then for the next 20 minutes it was all Burnham.Firstly a try by Tim Piper,who spotted a gap on the blind side,a subtle dummy enabled to score out wide with him then converting to make it 7-5.Shortly followed by a Piper penalty.Unfortunately he then suffered a calf injury and without his kicking astute knowledge,from then on Burnham looked in disarray,eventually conceding a further 5 tries so that Paignton ran out 10-39 winners.A few bright spots namely,Sam Everitt,Ross McKechan and Richard Muskett battling along in his usual fashion.
