Burnham heaved a huge sigh of relief after managing to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat with Alan House scoring in the corner, which lifted Burnham up to fifth place in the league. What a turnaround. For the first fifteen minutes Burnham played their expansionist game, moving N.Bristol from side to side with the end product being a penalty goal and a well worked try for Jordan Paul in the corner.8-0.However for the next twenty five minutes in both halves Burnham were sucked into N.Bristol’s hands allowing to set up many driving mauls perpetrated by Burnham’s lack of discipline, conceding 19 points.8-19.Fortunately Burnham’s ability to lift themselves came to the fore, firstly with a well judged interception by Kiwi Muskett,Tuttiet converting, followed by concerted pressure by Burnham forcing N.Bristol to concede territory and possession enabling Alan House to snatch the glory try.20-19.Well done Burnham. This week Burnham are away to Gordon League kickoff 3pm.Coach leaves at 12noon.
